This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of our Terms of Service. Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
Prohibited content & conduct
- Junk faxes / unsolicited commercial faxes in violation of the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Junk Fax Prevention Act, the Canadian CRTC rules, or equivalent laws elsewhere.
- Content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property, defames, harasses, or threatens any person.
- Content that sexually exploits minors.
- Phishing, fraud, identity theft, forged documents, or deceptive material.
- Malware, exploits, or content intended to disrupt the recipient's systems.
- Bulk faxing for political solicitation in jurisdictions where it is restricted.
- Use of stolen credit cards or payment fraud.
- Interference with the service, including attempts to bypass rate limits, scrape, or reverse-engineer.
- Transmitting Protected Health Information (PHI) on any tier other than HIPAA, or before a BAA is executed.
Number portability & reassignment
If a dedicated number is unused for 90 days after subscription cancellation, we may release it back to the carrier pool. Numbers cannot be ported to another carrier without an active subscription.
Reporting abuse
To report abuse: abuse@securelyfax.com. We respond to verified reports within 5 business days.
